Site Summary

Come join us as we worship God and learn from His Word at His Feast of Tabernacles (October 7th – 14th, 2006) on beautiful Vancouver Island, in British Columbia Canada. We have secured a quality establishment in which to host this year's joyous feast. Our Feast meeting room has exquisite mountain and ocean views overlooking Cowichan Bay and a quaint marina. This picturesque area is popular for whale watching, sightseeing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, golfing, is surrounded by mountains and trees with twelve vineyards nearby. Wine tasting tours are available.

The primary focus for us WILL BE SPIRITUAL, as we will focus each day on the meaning of the Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day, and their fulfillment in God’s awesome Kingdom. So come prepared to enjoy yourself, and to be inspired by God’s Word, instructed by His Statutes, and encouraged by His Testimonies, in an "agenda-free" atmosphere of harmony and peace with other of God’s people from various fellowships of His Church. The Oceanfront Grand Resort Hotel is where most Feastgoers will stay, as it is of the finest quality and they have offered us a very competitive rate of only $99.00 Canadian per night + tax, double occupancy. We understand all the rooms in this hotel are suites with ocean views, have separate bedrooms and full kitchens for meal preparation and refrigeration. There will be no need to go out to a store or restaurant on God’s Holy Sabbaths (see Neh. 10:31, Neh.13:15-22), as each room will have a kitchen with the ability to prepare ahead of time a nice private and peaceful Sabbath meal for themselves – or to prepare a potluck offering to share with your Feast friends in the Lord. Fellowship and Sabbath-keeping is made easy and pleasant with these rooms. The hotel also has a spacious fitness facility; an indoor heated pool and whirlpool, affordable onsite fine dining, and is within walking distance to the ocean and marina.

More about Cowichan Bay... While the hotel is in a peaceful country setting, it’s only about a five minute drive to the town of Duncan, and about 35 minutes to the very British city of Victoria, B.C..

While visiting Victoria, you may want to see the eye-popping Butchart Gardens, or visit the wonderful Natural History Museum, or stroll through and shop in little Chinatown, or charter a boat and go fishing or whale watching, or relax and experience high tea at the famous Empress Hotel.
